Tillandsia tricolor

Found in Mexico and Central America, the thin spiky leaves resemble the tillandsia's planty cousin the pineapple! Named tricolor for the bright range of orange/purple blushing that occurs with enough sun exposure.

Can be grown indoors or outdoors.  Best in strong, indirect light.

This is a plant from a humid environment and may require more frequent watering. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.
