Tillandsia ionantha 'Rubra'

A small clustering type of air plant found throughout Central America. Lighter trichomes on the outer part of the bright green and yellow leaves allows for an array of colors depending on sun exposure. 

Blushes bright pink, orange, or red before sending out violet blooms.

Can be grown indoors or outdoors.  Best in strong, indirect light.

This is a plant from a humid environment and may require more frequent watering. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.
