Tillandsia gardneri

Found in the dry forests of Caribbean islands and coasts, the soft velvety leaves can tolerate less watering in cool humid environments. This light sage plant grows out in a fountain form and will produce bright pink flowers when mature. Slow growing which makes it rare, but worth the pay off as they can get quite large and make beautiful displays. 

Can be grown indoors or outdoors.  Best in strong, indirect light.

This is a plant from a humid environment and may require more frequent watering. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.
