Tillandsia capitata 'Yellow Star'

Native to Mexico, and highly sought by collectors. Silvery leaves grow out in a loose rosette formation similar to streptophylla and xerographica. The center star of the plant will blush lemon-lime and warm pink before setting of many lavender blooms. 

Can be grown indoors or outdoors.  Best in strong, indirect light.

This is a plant from an arid environment and can tolerate less humidity. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.
