Tillandsia bergeri

Known as the "King of Pups," this is a quickly propagating Brazilian species that will reproudce in massive clumps of twisting caulescent forms. The hardy silvery leaves will produce pink spikes with lavender blooms which look brilliant if kept together in a clump. 

Can be grown indoors or outdoors.  Best in strong, indirect light.

This is a plant from an arid environment and can tolerate less humidity. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.
