Tillandsia purpurea

A Peruvian caulescent species of air plant (meaning they grow along a stem) one of the few with fragrant blooms. The leaves are silver green and "fuzzy" that in the wild semi arid shrub lands and deserts helps the plant absorb as much moisture as possible.

Can be grown indoors or outdoors.  Best in strong, indirect light.

This is a plant from an arid environment and can tolerate less humidity. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.  

You will receive a similar plant between 12-14 inches with care instructions.
