Commonly called "Medusa" these are a bulbous species of air plant with long curly leaves that resemble the head of snakes adorning the head of the ancient Greek mythic figure. The leaves are a deep purple-green with a silver "fuzz" that in the wild semi arid forests of deserts of Southern Mexico and Central America helps the plant absorb as much moisture as possible.
Can be grown indoors or outdoors. Best in strong, indirect light.
This is a plant from an arid environment and can tolerate less humidity. Spray or dunk once a week and allow to dry within 6-8 hours. DO. NOT. SOAK. This will trap water in the tight grooves of the leaves and rot your plant.
You will receive a similar plant with care instructions.
